How long will it take to appear at the top of Google?

The time it takes for your website to appear on page 1 of Google depends on a number of factors. The three most important factors include:

• What words are being used in the search (some phrases will be more relevant to your websites rankings than others).
• The number of other websites that are also competing against yours for those search phrases.
• How soon your website was changed. Google can take weeks to pickup your website. If you just launched your website then chances are you will not be anywhere in Google yet. But this can be fixed with Search Engine Optimisation.

Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of search engine results pages (including people who actually work for Google). There are however a number of factors that can improve your chances such as:
